Someone from Chicago, ILLINOIS sent me A PHOTO of this advertisement featuring SEAN SIDI (HAVE YOU SEEN ME?) in a local newspaper. Someone else in Washington D.C. also reported seeing the ad.

A person who works for an organization in Santa Rosa which serves the homeless - called me today to tell me that a client reported seeing "Sean" at or near the Santa Rosa Transit Mall and the Santa Rosa Junior College, about 2 weeks ago. The homeless person who saw "Sean" does not have a telephone.   

If you are in the Santa Rosa area, please keep an eye open for "Sean".

Sean is 19 yrs. old, 5'5" 120 lbs and slim build, dark brown hair & eyes, wears silver dental braces, has dimples, and scar on right forehead from brain surgery. He has suffered a recent brain injury and may be disoriented and not know his name.

SEAN IS IN URGENT NEED OF MEDICAL CARE DUE TO A SEVERE TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY SUSTAINED SHORTLY BEFORE GOING MISSING

On SUNDAY, good friends Basil and his wife Nathalie, arranged a LEAFLETTING PICNIC at GOLDEN GATE Park to support the SEARCH FOR SEAN SIDI. A small group of friends gathered, passed fliers to those in Golden Gate Park and posted fliers on the streets, then met up and picnicked under SEAN'S MISSING PERSON BANNER. 

Basil's and Nathalie's words to Claude and me were, 'We wanted to let you know that although we may not see you everyday, that we are WITH you - in the search for Sean - for the LONG RUN .. also to remind each other of the strength of COMMUNITY and the RESILIENCE OF THIS search for Sean (SIDI).'

The roller coaster of hope & disappointment continue. I try to survive by going through the exhausting process of blocking out all thoughts of my personable, good natured , charming son, who - despite the horrific accident, had the promise of a fulfilling LIFE ahead of him. Unlike a death, where pain may dim over time, the loss of having a MISSING CHILD & the anguish of NOT KNOWING become more PAINFUL as time passes, with HOPES diminished and ANXIETY INCREASING - wondering whether I will LIVE out my life NOT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED TO SEAN......

This week, we got some help from 2 kind San Francisco Police officers. I approached 2 policemen at the Montgomery MUNI/BART station IN SAN FRANCISCO with Sean's fliers. After speaking to them, they ASKED me if I had more fliers - which of course I did. They took a stack, and had the station agent (at Montgomery) post the flier In the STATION window. They said they would distribute the fliers to other station agents. WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL TO THE 2 SAN FRANCISCO POLICE OFFICERS FOR THEIR HELP. 

INTERESTINGLY, when I asked both police officers if they would recognize Sean among the homeless, they BOTH said they would RECOGNIZE SEAN'S DIMPLES (whether smiling or not)!!! I thought that was interesting as several people have said the same thing. 

Please keep your EYES open for SEAN, among the HOMELESS, LIKELY looking FAR from the well groomed boy in these photos, except for his signature DIMPLES & BRACES....

ON MARCH 16, 2014, The FOCUS/3-Children organization will be leaving on a ROAD TRIP to distribute their MISSING CHILDREN BINDERS (in which SEAN is INCLUDED) TO POST OFFICES THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THEY WILL ALSO BE posting Sean's and other missing children's flier's on COMMUNITY BOARDS throughout southern California. This is 1 of 5 annual trip planned in 2014 (see below).
