Help find Sean Sidi

We need your help to find our son

A MESSAGE FROM DANETTE ONDI WHO IS HELPING WITH THE CAMPAIGN OF HOPE**

"Find Sean SIDI flyers are ready for the USPS to deliver to shelters and soup kitchens in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. Three Southern CA counties are next. Feels good to be doing something, but it would feel so much better if we found Sean."

**If you would like to volunteer in the mass mailing campaign of Sean's Missing Person Flier to homeless shelters and soup kitchens across the nation, please contact Lynn atlynnkching@yahoo.com.  We need all the help we can get.

SEARCH FOR SEAN EXPANDED TO HAWAII

On recommendation of NCMEC,**we will be expanding the search for Sean to HAWAII and providing all law enforcement, hospitals, shelters, soup kitchens, and homeless outreach advocates in HAWAII with Sean’s flier and a letter from Dr. Manley stating that Sean is at risk of DEATH. For those of you in Hawaii who would like to assist in the HAWAII search please contact Lynn’s sister, Lianne, at liching@hawaii.rr.com.

Yesterday, Lynn, Sean’s mom met with ‘Project Alert’ (an arm of NCMEC whose members have law enforcement background), of the NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN (“NCMEC”)**, to discuss Sean’s case.

One of the recommendations of NCMEC/Project Alert is that the search for Sean be expanded to Hawaii.  There are many stories of homeless people, including those who may have no inkling of who or where they are, being given one-way tickets by various cities to other locations (including Hawaii).  Since Sean has family in Hawaii and is possibly not cognizant of who or where he is, NCMEC recommends that we expand the search to Hawaii (while continuing our search in California and the rest of the U.S in FULL FORCE).  MORE UPDATES TO COME.

THANK YOU to NCMEC, and to Dave and Don, of Project Alert, for assisting in the search for Sean!!

** NCMEC works in partnership with the U.S. Department of Justice to help law enforcement find missing children (0-21 yrs are eligible), receives federal funding, and is authorized under federal statute to assist with the recovery of missing children. NCMEC has recovered 180,000 children since it was established in 1984. IN SHORT, NCMEC IS A POWERFUL & VALUABLE RESOURCE IF YOU HAVE A MISSING CHILD.  For more information, see www.missingkids.com.

UPDATE: SEAN SIDI WILL BE FEATURED ON "MISSING" AFTER ALL......

'MISSING' is a national TV show featuring the real life stories of missing persons.

In San Francisco CA, Sean will be featured on "MISSING" on Monday, October 28th, KTVU Channel 2 at 12:30 pm.

Episode 778 (in which Sean will be featured) is satellite fed starting on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, and MOST STATIONS WILL AIR EPISODE 778 (featuring Sean) THIS COMING WEEKEND (Oct 26 or 27). See www.usamissing.com. for programming information for your city and state.

However, since San Francisco's Channel 2 KTVU airs 'MISSING' on Mondays, episode 778 featuring SEAN will air on MONDAY, OCTOBER 28TH (not Oct 21st).

Thank you to Larry Dunn and Alex Paen for clarifying this and for featuring Sean on 'Missing'.

Please spread the word to your friends and families in the United States to watch "MISSING" this week. The more people who know that Sean is critically missing, the better our chances of finding Sean - in time.

UPDATE ON TV SHOW 'MISSING'

Contrary to the information we received from 'Missing', it does not appear that Sean was featured on this weeks episode of 'Missing' (episode #778). It was a big disappointment. However, I have written Larry Dunn, producer of 'Missing' and will provide updated information as to when Sean will be featured on 'Missing'. Hopefully it will be soon.  Stay Tuned.

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES

Recently, friend Brenda Condon drove around San Diego, posting Sean’s missing person fliers.    Here is what Brenda wrote me,

“I took my 5-year old grandson [Mason] with me today to hang posters…It was really cute.    My grandson [Mason] was in his car seat staring at Sean’s poster.

He said,  Don’t worry Sean, we’re going to find you! ”

THANK YOU MASON – for your conviction and for helping us search for Sean!!!!!  Below is a picture of Mason after a long day of posting Sean’s fliers.

Due to a severe traumatic brain injury sustained prior to going missing, SEAN IS IN URGENT NEED OF MEDICAL CARE.  Amnesia, seizures and many other serious medical issues are not uncommon following a severe brain injury. Sean may be homeless, living on the streets, unable to ask for help.  Although Sean vanished from San Francisco, CA, it is possible that he may have traveled FAR from San Francisco if he was given a ride.

Sean is 5’5”, slim build and 120 lbs; has dark brown thick, wavy hair, of Asian/Caucasian ethnicity; WEARS SILVER DENTAL BRACES; has a surgical scar on right forehead from brain surgery.  Please help spread the word about the search for SEAN by sharing, liking and re-posting.

If you see Sean, please take him to the hospital and call 415.713.5913. You may also send a photo of Sean to this number.  Please help spread the word about our search for Sean across the United States, by sharing our post with everyone that you know.
