Help find Sean Sidi

Someone called in a very tentative "Sean" sighting last night near Stanyan & Haight in San Francisco. The person called in the sighting because "Sean" had a droopy eye. However, the caller could NOT confirm whether "SEAN" had braces or dimples. After speaking to me, it was ascertained that "Sean" may have been taller than (OUR) Sean SIDI. The caller did not have a camera on his phone and could NOT take a picture.  However, please keep your eyes open for Sean - just in case. 

WE APPRECIATE ALL INFORMATION & THANK THE CALLER FOR CONTACTING US - DESPITE HIS DOUBTS about whether he had spotted the "real" Sean. 

The caller told me he WAS ALERTED to the SEARCH FOR SEAN from one of SEAN'S FLIERS posted IN A STORE FRONT WINDOW at 24TH Street IN NOE VALLEY, San Francisco. 

He also said that he had NOT SEEN SEAN's FLIERS (in San Francisco) RECENTLY, and had to search online to get my contact number.

WE ARE IN AWE OF OUR 7 YEAR OLD NEIGHBOR, MILO. Yesterday, Milo decided (his idea!!!) to sell lemonade to raise money to search for Sean. He (with the help of his incredible parents), prepared organic lemonade & set up a lemonade stand in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. 

Milo sold lemonade & his ORIGINAL artwork (pictured below). He also handed each customer one of Sean's fliers AND asked them POST the flier. 

It was AMAZING!!! In a matter of 2 hours, MILO raised $133 which he donated to search for Sean!! 

MILO NOT ONLY RAISED MONEY TO SEARCH FOR SEAN - HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB OF SPREADING THE WORD of OUR SEARCH FOR SEAN!!!! While many in the neighborhood had heard of our search for Sean, SOME HAD NOT!!!! 

THANK YOU MILO!!! THE MONEY YOU RAISED WILL BE USED TO PURCHASE MORE FLIERS, & TO PAY FOR SUPPLIES & POSTAGE USED IN OUR on-going campaign to mail Sean's fliers to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, & hospitals in California and across the United States.

Today is National Missing Children's Day. 

Please take a moment to peruse www.missingkids.com, the website of 'National Center for Missing and Exploited Children' (NCMEC). NCMEC has a congressional mandate and receives federal funding to assist law enforcement with the retrieval of missing & exploited children (ages 0-21). Currently, NCMEC is mailing Sean's missing person AD to every household in the United States. You may have seen Sean's ad in the Redplum advertisements under "HAVE YOU SEEN ME"? 

TODAY, Sean's 7 year old neighbor, MILO, is hosting a lemonade stand, from 3pm - 5 pm on Cortland St. near Andover (by the Good Life Grocery Store in San Francisco), & DONATING PROCEEDS TO the SEARCH FOR SEAN!!!! More pictures from the 'Walk for Sean' on Saturday May 17, 2014. We'll post others to an album. Channel 4 did a very nice, & fairly lengthy story on the 'Walk for Sean'. Channel 7 and Channel 2 showed brief clips. We are grateful to the media for providing the much needed exposure to locate Sean. According to the National Center for Missing Children, 1 out of every 6 missing children is found by photo recognition.

CLAUDE & I were literally moved to tears by YOUR incredible show of support yesterday. Well over 100 of you braved traffic on your day off - TO WALK FOR SEAN!!! 

The attendance & speeches of Sean's friends, many who apparently just flew in from college for the summer, was a surprise which WARMED our hearts. 

Our photographers, Rika and Kathleen (thank you!) have hundreds of photos of the START, the actual 2 mile walk & END point at the park. We will POST them over the next few days.
